To bid or not to bid?
That’s no longer the question with the new Shift Bidding overlap feature. This update to Shift Bidding gives your agency the option of allowing employees to bid on vacant shifts even if they are already scheduled during that time.
The setup is simple – just enable the option to allow overlap bids, and determine how many minutes you’d like set for the overlap time allowance. Just like that, you’re on your way to more quickly filling those vacant shifts.
Employees will then be able to place bids on shifts that conflict with their current schedule, as long as it’s within your agency’s overlap allowance setting.
What’s more, at the time when managers are assigning the shift, a window will appear with options to take care of the overlap by either setting the previously scheduled shift to vacant or adjusting the new shift time as needed. And all changes will be reflected in the schedule!
Managing department access for your users is now easier with the permissions tab’s new design. The new layout displays the department list alphabetically in grid form for a more user-friendly interface.
To grant access to someone, simply check off the departments the employee has access to. There is also a checkbox that gives you the option to grant access to all departments!
Even more: we’ve added a new department filter – see only the ones you need, no more scrolling through every department.
