Inclusion System Update: New to Schedule Beta

It’s about to get even better!

We reviewed feedback and usage of the earlier release of Schedules Beta, and now we are back with additional enhancements. Let’s not delay, here are the updates we hope you’ll be excited about.

Notification Tracking and Resend Capability
Notification Tracking allows you to view failed and successful schedule notifications for your team. When this feature is enabled for your organization, Managers will see a new tab in the side panel called Notifications.

Notification details will appear in the tabs as follows:

  • If all notifications in the set sent were successful, the list will be empty, and no warnings will appear.
  • If within the set there are failed notifications, a banner alert will appear on the schedule and details will be listed as follows:
    • Failed notification details will be listed under the Failed tab.
    • Successful notification details will be listed under the Successful tab.

Resend Failures button will also appear below the failed details, giving you the option to deliver the notifications again.

Filter by Position
An additional filter option for Position has been added. You can set one or more position filters to have your schedule grid display only those workblocks.

Show Description Text View Option
In your View Options tab on the side panel, enabling the Show Description Text option will display the shift description right on your shift – don’t worry, you will still see the shift description icon if you choose not to enable this option.

ADDITIONAL UPDATES

  • Ability to edit the end date of your last schedule.
  • Additional security settings have been added to allow flexibility in configuring schedule user roles (i.e. user who can submit only, no approval etc.)
  • Overnight shifts will now have an arrow indicator on the start and end of the shift to indicate the shift goes through to the next day or is part of the previous night.
  • When scheduling using one of the Department views, you now have the option to expand the day to see all 24 hours when there are shifts that begin or end outside of your default calendar hours settings.
  • You can now differentiate between a shift that is locked by Shiftshark or Shift Bidding:

  • If your organization is using the option to split shifts that cross a pay period boundary, those settings will now also be honoured in the hours totals for Schedules.
  • Other load and performance enhancements!

We want to make sure you enjoy these new updates to the fullest, so if you would like more details, please don’t hesitate to contact our Includables and we will be happy to assist you!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please call us at 1-866-884-3451, or send us an email at includables@inclusionsystem.ca

Sincerely,
The Includables

  1. I’ve been browsing on-line more than 3 hours today, but I by no means found any attention-grabbing article
like yours. It’s pretty price sufficient for me. Personally,
if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content material as you
probably did, the web will likely be a lot more helpful than ever before.

Inclusion System extends our profound respect and immeasurable gratitude to all the ancestors and keepers of the land on whose traditional territories our work takes place. We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional gathering place of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene people and the traditional homeland of the Métis people. This land is sacred, historical, and significant.

Every time we acknowledge this truth, we have an invitation and an opportunity to reflect on the wrongs of the past, what we do in the present, and what we can do to continually honour the people whose lands and water we benefit from today.

This statement only acts as a first step in honouring the land we reside on and its peoples, and must be paired with education, understanding and informed action.
