Inclusion System Update: March 2020
Set a lockdown for Time Entry and Daily Approval entries!
By setting a specific lockdown time for Time Entry and Daily Approval, employees and managers can be prevented from adding or editing shifts once the set time is reached. This new feature aims to better your workflow and prevent discrepancies from submitted hours to payroll.
To enable this feature, simply input how many days after the pay period and what time on that day the lockdown should begin. The configuration set will apply to all departments in the agency.
For employees in Time Entry, a Period Locked indicator will be visible in the top right corner if the lockdown time has been reached. A message advising the employee to reach out to their manager for additional changes will also appear.
For managers in Daily Approval, a similar Period Locked indicator will also appear once the lockdown time has been reached.
That’s all for now, folks.

Inclusion System extends our profound respect and immeasurable gratitude to all the ancestors and keepers of the land on whose traditional territories our work takes place. We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional gathering place of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene people and the traditional homeland of the Métis people. This land is sacred, historical, and significant.
Every time we acknowledge this truth, we have an invitation and an opportunity to reflect on the wrongs of the past, what we do in the present, and what we can do to continually honour the people whose lands and water we benefit from today.
This statement only acts as a first step in honouring the land we reside on and its peoples, and must be paired with education, understanding and informed action.
